In 2025, journalists demand high-tech, in-depth industry knowledge in an initial pitch. 🧠 Want to know what it takes to entice journalists today? Check out Director of Client Relations Kate Johnson's insights on the future of pitching:
Get out the crystal ball, it's time for my 2025 prediction! 🔮 Generic, broad pitches are a snooze fest and will not cut it. As media relations professionals, we have to continue to raise the bar and find key components to land great stories. Look for opportunities to: 📈 Create third-party validation through owned or survey data 💡 Share relevant customer stories and use cases 🤝 Work with partners to explore alternate channels to share news Follow PANBlast, a division of PAN (formerly, BLASTmedia) to learn more!

When it comes to people's frustration with the current state of social media, there might as well be an AI bot dressed in a sequined dress singing "It's me. Hi! I'm the problem, it's me 👋" But could it also be the solution? Director of Client Relations ✨ Jake Doll ✨ has a hot take on the next iteration of social media. Check it out:
I’m keeping the 2025 prediction train moving forward, which hopefully takes us to a world where social media platforms don’t suck. We’ll still probably be navigating weird algorithms, but I’m looking forward to a rejection of bots and worthless AI commentary. All aboard! 🚂 Check out other POVs from PANBlast folks like: Kelsey Sowder asking us to “keep your posts concise and bold, and don't be afraid of a 🔥 hot 🌶️ take” Grace Williams believes we’re on “the cusp of a breakthrough in PR measurement." Also, ignore the thumbnail. I smile in the vid, I promise. #socialmedia #PR #marketing #AI PANBlast, a division of PAN (formerly, BLASTmedia)

Open up LinkedIn and your feed will likely be filled with personal anecdotes turned business lessons. Is it getting stale yet? 😬 Check out Director of Client Relations Kelsey Sowder's take on where thought leaders need to take their LinkedIn presence to stand out in 2025.
🔮 Ready for one of my 2025 PR predictions? 🔮 LinkedIn is turning into thought leadership soup. We're all tired of the cliche life story that makes its way into a business lesson. My suggestion: keep your posts concise and bold, and don't be afraid of a 🔥 hot 🌶️ take.

Wow, Danielle Pitl, you sure know how to make a team blush! 😊 We’ve been lucky to work with amazing clients like Danielle whose trust and collaboration make our jobs not just rewarding but downright fun. (Although those last-minute pivots do sometimes test how much coffee we really need! ☕😂) Thank you for letting us be part of your journey this year 🥂🎆

I’ve worked with many agencies—creative firms, digital strategists, PR teams. Some partnerships have been game-changes; others have been more of a learning experience. Working with PANBlast, a division of PAN (formerly, BLASTmedia) has been a standout in the best way. They bring the expertise you’d expect, but what really sets them apart is how they approach the work: 🎧 They listen — not just to what’s being said, but to the nuances that matter. 💛 They lead with empathy — building trust and making collaboration easy. 🔄 They’re flexible — meeting us where we are, even during last-minute pivots or fast-moving rollouts. Reflecting on this partnership, I realize how much those qualities matter: thoughtful listening, empathy, and adaptability. These things often get overlooked, but they’re what make collaboration smooth and impactful. To the PanBlast team: thank you! I appreciate how you’ve shown up for us this year.

Is AI taking over our inboxes? 🤖 Are in-person events making a comeback? 🎟️ Is traditional media really dead? 🪦 Check out what VP of Client Relations Grace Williams has to say about all these 🔥 burning 🔥 questions via her 2025 predictions:
Annual #PR predictions post coming at ya (this time in a *new & improved* format thanks to our partner BrandSlap). I know you've been on the edge of your seat in anticipation! 📧 Email isn’t going anywhere, but AI inundation abounds. Bot pitches are clogging journalists' inboxes. We'll have to lean on other channels like X, LinkedIn and QWOTED for pitching. 📰 Publications as a piece of the puzzle. "Traditional media is dead and founder-led comms is the future" was the common refrain this year. What I believe to be true about that statement is that we'll be doing more comms via other channels in 2025 — LinkedIn, speaking, internal, short-form video, etc. Wrote about this recently for MarketingProfs (in the comments). 📐 We’re on the cusp of a breakthrough in PR measurement. More on that in the video, but I am impressed by what I am seeing from tools like Memo. 🤝 Are events back... for real this time? Based on what I am hearing from clients, we'll see a comeback next year for in-person activities. I am talking interesting, mid to large-scale events with cool activations and knowledgeable speakers… not desksides :). What did I miss?
