Driving collective action for a pandemic-resilient world
About us
Launched in April 2020, Pandemic Action Network is a robust partnership of over 400 diverse organizations aligned in the belief that every effort made in the fight against COVID-19 should leave a long-term legacy — one where humanity is better prepared to deal with outbreaks and prevent a deadly and costly pandemic from happening again. We are advocates, communicators, strategists, campaigners, project managers, researchers, organizers, analysts, problem-solvers, business leaders, creatives, activists, and so much more. The challenges are too big and too many for any one single stakeholder or sector, but together we can #PandemicProof our future.

There will be no pandemic agreement this year, but the work continues! Our Executive Director Eloise Todd spoke with Health Policy Watch about the path forward. "There is a more urgent sense of progress around the negotiations which we need to encourage... high-income countries in particular to dig deep and remember the reason why we need this agreement is because of the deep-seated inequality in the COVID response... It's crucial for negotiators to see the bigger picture with these negotiations... It’s time to deliver on this vital step forward that will benefit people in every country." https://lnkd.in/g-N-bnyV
