Midyear funtime kicks off tonight at the Indiana Reception, starting at 6p. Stop by and chat, we are a fun bunch. We are super excited to meet with everyone tomorrow, Monday, December 9th, at Residency Showcase from 1p to 4p Central. You are welcome to stop by our booth (4005), meet our residents and RPDs, and snag a goodie bag. If you have time before the showcase, we have four students (Yu-Hsin Huang, 3-137, Logan McKendry, 3-108, Afam Nzekwe, 3-098, and Whitney Wolfe, 3-107) presenting their Parkview Health research posters from 12p to 1p. Finally, Parkview Health Ambulatory Pharmacy Services is currently participating in PPS interviews for clinical pharmacy specialists in general ambulatory care and enhanced primary care as well as an allergy, asthma, and immunology pharmacy specialist.

Finally, we have two members of our team presenting at the conference. Ashley Parrott, Clinical Ambulatory Manager and PGY2 Ambulatory Care RPD, has two sessions (Tuesday and Thursday) and Rob Beckett, Medication Stewardship Coordinator and Projects preceptor for our PGY2 Critical Care and PGY2 Internal Medicine programs, has one session (Wednesday). We look forward to seeing everyone at Midyear!

Tomorrow, Thursday December 5th, our pharmacy residents will be presenting their research posters to Parkview Health at Parkview Regional Medical Center from 2:30p to 4:30p. The event is open to all (pharmacy, nurses, physicians, patients, visitors, etc.) and we will have light refreshments. #parkviewhealth #pharmacyresidency #residentlife
