Strengthening the Church by Serving Pastors

About us

PastorServe is committed to helping pastors and churches experience healthy leadership as they extend the hope of Jesus into our ever changing world. For over 22 years PastorServe has been coming alongside ministry leaders to provide coaching and support, both equipping and encouraging pastors as they live out their calling. We believe all of life matters and has an impact on how effective pastors and ministry leaders will be in living out their calling. This belief leads us to champion something that is distinctive in how we approach our coaching and consulting. At PastorServe we focus on helping our clients holistically, addressing both Personal Life (Backstage) and Professional Life (Front Stage) to guide ministry leaders into a flourishing life of effective Kingdom impact. Personal Life (Backstage) We help all of our pastors to think more intentionally about the key areas such as marriage, family, relational health, spiritual health, emotional health, physical health, and even finances. Professional Life (Front Stage) We assist pastors in truly developing as church leaders, including leadership philosophy, primary roles and responsibilities, and navigating deeper challenges and concerns facing the local church. We address practical needs and opportunities as they arise such as staff development, discipleship pathways, community outreach, and more. In making progress on these challenges, we’ll help you become more effective in vital leadership competencies such as Diagnosing Situations, Intervening Skillfully, Managing Yourself, Energizing Others, Identifying Opportunities, and Change Management. Consulting for us, perhaps more than anything else, is about having perspective. Our unique perspective comes from serving hundreds of churches and thousands of pastors over 20+ years. More importantly, we love helping pastors benefit from the perspective God has given us. Reach out today for a free 1 hour coaching session

  • When we stop hiding and bring our real selves to God, that's when He can truly work in our lives. Are our lives and ministries truly being shaped by the Spirit, or are they shaped perhaps by our insecurities, disappointments, our own ambitions, and our other baggage? In this week's conversation on FrontStage BackStage, host Jason Daye is joined by Zach Meerkreebs. Zach had a unique experience on February 8, 2023, when he preached the sermon at the chapel service at Asbury University. This led to a 16-day spiritual revival, now known as Asbury Outpouring, which had ripple effects across the country and even around the world. Zach now serves as the Pastor in Residence at Asbury, and his most recent book is entitled Lower. Together, Zach and Jason explore how we can invite the Holy Spirit in to help us assess our feelings, whether negative or positive, that surround our ministry activities and how we engage in serving others. Zach also shares from his personal experiences of grief, loss, vulnerability, and humility and provides some essential spiritual practices that can help us empty ourselves as we prepare to serve.
