‘Tis the season… for scammers. We've received multiple reports of fraudulent text messages impersonating Pathways Financial Credit Union. These texts often claim “denied transactions” to confuse members and trick them into sharing sensitive information. Pathways will NEVER call or text you and ask for PIN numbers, 2-factor authentication codes, online banking login information, email passwords, or more than the last four digits of your card number. We will only ask you to verify your personal information when YOU call us directly. Pathways will ONLY send fraud alerts from a short code, NOT a full phone number. If you receive a suspicious text: • Do not reply or click on any links. • Verify with us directly at 800-367-7485. • Report suspicious texts to mail@pathwayscu.com. Your security is our priority.
