We’re honored to have played a small part in Jon Cryer and Lisa Joyner’s recent benefit concert, which raised over $150K for the California Community Foundation to support wildfire recovery and aid those in need. We recently celebrated the great partnership between Patina Catering and the legendary Parties at the Plaza, CPS Events at The Plaza, with an evening at the picturesque Lincoln Ristorante in New York City. The experience was designed to highlight the connection between the West and East coasts with a night of celebration entitled, “A Tale of Two Icons.” The carefully selected menu items served as a reflection of coastal roots, showcasing how cuisine can be inspired by regional culture and distinct culinary traditions, while also embracing a spirit of shared identity. Patina Catering was thrilled to participate in the recent annual the Segerstrom Center for the Arts 'Candlelight Gala', collaborating with celebrated Chef Timothy Hollingsworth to deliver a culinary experience as extraordinary as the event itself. Chef Hollingsworth worked closely with Patina Culinary Director, Chef Jacqueline Kelly, to craft an exclusive menu seamlessly blending flavor, innovation, and elegance for an unforgettable occasion. The evening began with premium tray-passed hors d’oeuvres, including Tuna Tostadas with salsa matcha, vegan Crispy Mushroom bites with black garlic sauce, and Beets with Miso Yogurt. Chef Hollingsworth’s signature Chicken Liver Mousse with curry onion jam added a touch of his celebrated artistry to the opening fare. The beverage program featured signature cocktails themed after the evening’s surprise performer, including the Crocodile Rock with vodka, hibiscus, and guava, and the Cold, Cold Heart, a sophisticated blend of Bulleit bourbon, Aperol, and honey. Guests also enjoyed Handwritten wines and Veuve Clicquot champagne. For dinner, attendees savored a first course of Cauliflower Panna Cotta with caviar and lemon, followed by an indulgent entrée of Beef Tenderloin and Lobster accompanied by potato purée and trumpet mushrooms. Dessert was a stunning Chocolate Ganache Torte, adorned with olive oil jam and gold leaf, offering a luxurious finale. Chef Hollingsworth personally oversaw the plating and presentation, ensuring every detail reflected Patina Catering’s renowned culinary excellence. Patina Catering has been the exclusive catering partner for Segerstrom Center for the Art for 18 years, operating George’s Café and Leatherby’s Café Rouge as well as the intermission bars and event catering. This one-of-a-kind evening celebrated artistry, innovation, and impeccable taste, leaving a lasting impression on all in attendance.
