IT'S CALLED THE CLOUD BUT REALLY REFERS TO SERVERS THAT ARE ACCESSED OVER THE INTERNET, AND THE SOFTWARE AND DATABASES THAT RUN ON THOSE SERVERS. CLOUD SERVERS ARE LOCATED IN DATA CENTERS ALL OVER THE WORLD, AND BY USING CLOUD COMPUTING, USERS AND COMPANIES DO NOT HAVE TO MANAGE PHYSICAL SERVERS THEMSELVES OR RUN SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS ON THEIR OWN MACHINES.

"SMBs don't seem that interested in AI."   The data is telling a different story... 📊 👀 We surveyed 500+ SMBs globally and found: > 96% plan to invest in AI within the next year. > Only 16% are deploying AI alone. Most (58%) are working with a solution provider. But SMBs are facing barriers to AI adoption like: > Lack of AI-ready infrastructure and devices > Poor data hygiene and management > Security concerns and compliance challenges > Shortage of skilled staff to operate AI systems > Unclear AI use cases and business applications This is where MSPs can step up to support SMBs. That looks like: > Helping SMBs organize, cleanse and manage data for AI readiness > Enhancing security to ensure compliance and protection > Investing in AI training internally to stay ahead and guide clients appropriately The role of MSPs is moving beyond traditional IT services. SMBs are looking for strategic AI partners and consultants who can help them adopt these systems and tools so they can reap the benefits. The MSPs who adapt to this new landscape will lead. Our full report breaks down more AI perspectives from SMBs and strategies for MSPs to capitalize on this massive opportunity. Link in comments.

‼️ 70% OF RANSOMWARE ATTACKS HIT SMBs ‼️    And one report out of the U.K. showed half of small businesses hit by a cyberattack didn’t survive.   Enter: Cyber insurance. Something that has become increasingly important...but convincing SMBs they need it, can still be challenging.   On top of that, insurance providers are also increasingly scrutinizing the cybersecurity measures of potential policyholders. As more cyberattacks happen, more organizations take up insurance, leading to higher prices and lower coverage limits.   So how do you help your clients become good candidates for cyber insurance?    Focus on the following strategies: ☞ Your client needs to demonstrate a strong enough security posture to providers. This starts with a solid plan. This plan should include implementing at least basic cybersecurity measures such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), endpoint detection and response (EDR) and security awareness training, which are often among the minimum requirements for obtaining cyber insurance. ☞ You need to explain the importance of having a well-defined incident response plan, which may also be a requirement. This plan should include steps for detecting, responding to and recovering from cyber incidents. ☞ Your client may need to encrypt sensitive data in order to get cyber insurance, which protects data from being stolen by scrambling it so that it can only be unlocked with a unique key. ☞ To prevent the potential misuse of accounts scattered across multiple systems, insurers might mandate the use of privileged access management (PAM) solutions. For larger teams, PAM enhances cybersecurity by restricting critical resource access to only those with proper authorization. ☞ Ensure your client's cybersecurity practices align with recognized industry standards and frameworks, such as the CIS Security Controls. Compliance with these standards can enhance their eligibility for cyber insurance. Make the cyber insurance conversation easier using our white-labeled resources (decks, talk tracks and more) at the link in the comments.
