Payload has completely reinvented the Headless CMS ... 👇 Payload is now the only Next.js CMS—in a way that no other CMS can match. It installs directly into your app folder without any third-party SaaS services—no free trials, no free tier, no subscriptions. It’s yours. This is the definition of open source. And this is all possible with one line: npx create-payload-app More in the comments. #headlesscms #cms #opensource #webdevelopment

We surpassed 25,000 GitHub stars yesterday! While this is a testament to our amazing open source community, it also demonstrates that Payload has staying power. And we're only getting started. #opensource #cms #javascript #nextjs

Love the work that Patrik Kozak has been up to on document locking within Payload — it will be available by the end of this week. #digitalmarketing #webdev #nextjs #webdevelopment #cms #javascript

There isn't a CMS / app framework on the planet that has a community as innovative as ours. 💪 Fantastic work from our community member, ashbuilds, for this amazing AI plugin. #cms #nextjs #webdev #webdevelopment #ai #artificialintelligence #llm

Ever wonder who funds surveillance across the globe? 👀 Our friends at Humaan used Payload to find out, transforming an incredible amount of raw data into a highly visual experience with Surveillance Watch. 🌐 #cms #content #nextjs #webdev #webdevelopment #javascript

Generally speaking, there's a pretty strong correlation between enthusiasm and the success of a product. We tested that theory this morning ... The result? Between Discord and YouTube, nearly 500 developers tuned into Payload's community call at one time. Not for a product launch, but a product update. 🤯 This was almost *triple* our best turnout—which was in March for our release of 3.0 beta. The momentum and energy behind Payload is palpable—and we're here for it. As we near our heavily anticipated 3.0 launch, which will make Payload the de facto Next.js CMS, James Mikrut and the team delivered an update on where things stand, how close we are to a launch, and a bunch of other good stuff. Payload is at Beer City Code. Great to connect with local developers and our agency friends. (And that one guy who told us WordPress makes him cry, but that Payload is a “warm hug” — you know who you are). Nice work to Jonathan "J." Tower and Brian McKeiver for another solid event, and to Dan Ribbens (pictured right) for keeping me company.
