Torrance Refining Company was proud to be a distinguished sponsor of the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce's 24th Annual Black History Celebration, where two of our community non-profit partners, The Volunteer Center South Bay-Harbor-Long Beach and El Camino College were honored this year. Congratulations to Dr. Brenda Thames and Josh Gezahegn, EdD!

Torrance Refinery employees read to 1st graders at Yukon Elementary School in Torrance, and passed out learning supplies, as part of The Volunteer Center South Bay-Harbor-Long Beach's Operation Teddy Bear program. We are so glad to be able to teach and learn from our smallest community members!

Our Torrance Refinery employees enjoyed stuffing backpacks for first graders benefitting from The Volunteer Center South Bay-Harbor-Long Beach Operation Teddy Bear (OTB) program. We are proud to be long-time Volunteer Center OTB supporters, promoting literacy, improving quality of life and helping to instill volunteerism in children. Looking forward to delivering these soon!
