The training featured real-world examples of representation & warranties insurance (RWI), tax insurance and contingent risk insurance, equipping PEAC members with actionable strategies for mitigating deal risks. With a strong focus on supporting lower and middle-market private equity firms, CAC has rapidly grown to over 500 employees in just five years. The Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management hosted a virtual information session this week for the Private Equity Association of Chicago. Members learned about Kellogg’s Advanced Private Equity Experience (APEX) program, a tailored and rigorous finance curriculum for a selective cohort of MBA candidates who are coming into Kellogg with prior private equity experience and want to return to the field of private equity post-MBA. The APEX program blends a focus across finance, analytics and social intelligence to equip graduates with key leadership, negotiation, sales and collaboration skills to set them up for success in their private equity careers. Thank you to Jennifer Hayes (Senior Associate Director), Erik Brown (Senior Director of Private Equity) and Andrew Irvine (current Kellogg MBA candidate) for taking time out of your schedules to connect with PEAC and answer our questions!
