  • What a year. 🖤💪🏾 From breaking free of harmful agency norms to fully embracing authenticity + presence, 2024 has been nothing short of transformative. Highlights: 🫶🏾 Partnering with some of the most inspiring brands & leaders across arts + culture, advocacy, corporate, and philanthropy. 🔥 Stacking up wins left and right. ✨ Creating a team culture rooted in values that let us do our best work for the communities I care about most. This year was everything—watch the video ⬆️ to see why. 🎥👀 And to everyone who was part of this journey, thank you. 🙏🏾 Here’s to even bigger wins in 2025.

  • This is what it means to align passion with purpose. Our collaboration with Emily Anadu and The Lay Out perfectly embodies the heart of our mission.    #PeaNationProud

Culture + Social Impact Communications Executive | Bridging the gap between brands + communities through communications, advocacy and social impact campaigns

Let's talk about what a home run looks like. To partner on a project where both the vision + purpose are so rooted and aligned with the core of what you do is extremely rare. Pea Nation’s work with The Lay Out was a spectacular experience. We secured swaggy coverage in over a dozen outlets for their 5th Annual Juneteenth Celebration, with each story capturing the essence and impact of their mission. On top of that, we were immersed in the glory of Black beauty and joy that was a celebration of culture and identity. Thank you, Jessinia Brooks for driving this work. Watching you in action + supporting your growth has been one of my most cherished career moments. And Coral Bello-Martinez, we could not have done this without your diligence and commitment. Emily Anadu thank you for trusting me with such a special + historic moment. Your creativity and ability to consistently raise the bar is inspiring. We knocked this one out the park!

  • We believe in the power of stories to create change. 💪🏾🖤 Get a sneak peek at a recent screening hosted by Public Wise on the impactful documentary featuring Black Voters Matter at the iconic Apollo Theater. Our Pea Nation team delivered on: ✅️ Orchestrating the right moderator for a meaningful discussion ✅ Securing relevant media attendance ✅ Capturing every moment of the event ✅ Making sure the room was filled with our allies + supporters #ArtAsActivism #SocialJustice #Community

  • We take pride in our team culture. Why? Because it’s rooted in the very fabric of the communities we serve.    ✊🏾 Our work is a reflection of us. Our projects align with our values and experiences and amplify the voices that need to be heard the most.    🗣️ Speaking up isn’t just encouraged—it’s celebrated. Our team is empowered to lead conversations and share their perspectives, ensuring everyone has a voice at our table.    🌟 We’re all about deepening connections beyond our work. Whether catching up before a meeting or hanging out in person, we celebrate and uplift each other every step of the way.    #TeamCulture #Community #PeaNationProud

  • Meet Coral Bello-Martinez, our first Communications Coordinator! 🌟    Coral’s experience in education and community organizing drives her passion for amplifying diverse voices and fostering meaningful connections. From intern to Comms Coordinator, Coral’s journey with us at Pea Nation is a testament to her dedication and growth. Coral ensures that our communication strategies and messaging are impactful and aligned with our client’s goals and values.       When she’s not crafting the perfect message, you can find Coral on her yoga mat, trying cool restaurants she has bookmarked on TikTok, or exploring new destinations around the globe.

  • With the Meta restrictions for so-called ‘political content’ decreasing reach and engagement for clients’ important content, we’re rising to the challenge.     Our team is wrapping up a client’s first-ever sponsored content influencer partnership to break through to new, relevant audiences through a collaborative post on Instagram. From forging the relationship to contracting and developing a creative concept with the influencer, our team has been with our client every step of the way.     The real success: we helped grow our client’s following and engagement, resulting in thousands of new views on their important messaging during a political year. 👏🏽    Helping our clients communicate with new audiences through an authentic and inclusive lens is not just what we’re about; it’s what we do.

  • Meet Jessinia Brooks, a Senior Media + Culture Strategist at Pea Nation!     With nearly a decade of experience in public relations, Jessinia specializes in culture, social impact, and impact entertainment. She works to elevate thought leaders, creators, activists, organizations, and brands committed to championing marginalized communities and fostering a more equitable society.    When she isn’t advocating for inclusivity and social justice, you can find her trying new restaurants in her hometown of Queens, at Zumba, or at the dog park with her puppy (or her “dog-ter,” as she prefers), Teddi.
