Peapack Private Bank & Trust is seeking a seasoned Chief Audit Executive to join our team. In this role, you will oversee a comprehensive risk-based internal audit program, which includes audit procedures for the Bank’s branches and operations. You will also develop new or revised internal audit procedures and methods to maintain the relevance of the internal audit function as the Bank prepares for continued growth. The ideal candidate will bring 10-15 years of experience in auditing and financial institutions and will be proficient expertise in internal audit theory, standards, procedures, and techniques. The labor market ended last year on a robust note with the economy creating 256k new jobs in December compared to consensus estimates of 160k. The unemployment rate also ticked lower to 4.1%.
