Growing up in the business & industry, I have met a lot of talented people. Whether that be at our customers, those who work for our suppliers, or on our team here at The Conrad Company with decades knowledge and experience. One of our amazing teams within The Conrad Company is Allied Hydraulic Service Company located in Hellam, PA. Allied exists to help people in manufacturing & construction with hydraulic component repair. When they aren’t doing repair work, customers are counting on them for new hydraulic power unit system builds. Pictured here is Tim who has been with Allied over 20 years and may be one of the smartest individuals I have met when it comes to hydraulics. Tim is a wealth of knowledge and is helping David Bruce build the next generation so the future of Allied is in good hands. Bob Rhein with PennAir, was the most gracious host of our “Growing Together” network event, this month. We had an awesome tour and history lesson on the PennAir organization. Bob shared his testimony on the relationship our families have created together, and the impact Staub/Sandler has made in their world. Yet another example of a 3rd generation family business we are blessed to work with thanks to Conrad Rhein & Courtney Rhein still believing in the work we do. James Spence, our business development manager covering much of the northeast US, headed that way this week to visit some of our partners. One of his first stops was PennAir, one of our distributors in Pennsylvania. He and PennAir VP of Sales Trent Landis discussed potential projects requiring accurate, repeatable, customizable electro-pneumatic control, and how bright 2025 looks for the fluid power market.

There are very few things that will jump start your day better than visiting Maple Donuts, Inc.. Those local to Central PA will know 😊 The team at Maple is not only a valued customer to PennAir, but a long-time family friend and owned business as well. Charlie Burnside & my grandfather, Jim Conrad, were both getting their businesses off the ground in the late 60’s & early 70’s supporting one another. I had the privilege of attending elementary school with Charlie’s grandson, Charles Burnside along with knowing their family very well over the years. It is a neat community connection as I always enjoy picking up their donuts and taking them to our local customers as a thank you. York County has a lot of neat relationships dating back decades within the manufacturing industry. Grateful to support an awesome organization like Maple Donuts & also get to share the joy of their products with others, check them out!
