The Program Executive Office for Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions (PEO MLB) is the Department of the Navy's manpower, logistics and business solutions information technology acquisition agent. The systems and solutions PEO MLB develops, acquires and delivers are the backbone enabling the DON's day-to-day administrative, business and financial operations. PEO MLB provides Sailors, Marines, DON civilians and their support systems with the services needed to complete their missions and tools to manage their careers. PEO MLB was established in May 2020 following the disestablishment of the Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems to realize the vision of digital transformation and to optimize program alignment across the Navy and Marine Corps capability portfolios. The PEO EIS program offices relating to manpower, logistics and business solutions were transitioned to PEO MLB. The program offices relating to networks, enterprise services and digital infrastructure were transitioned to PEO Digital and Enterprise Services.

The proposals are being presented as part of the Charleston Defense Contractors Association Eastern Defense Summit Pitch Jam! We are excited to hear industry’s proposals to create a secure, commercially-based AI environment for real-word naval applications that demonstrate how the Navy can best leverage the latest commercial technologies in generative AI/ML in a versatile environment to support experimentation and operational use that is both secure and practical. PEO MLB’s Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) Director Mr. David K. is a panelist on the I/ITSEC 2024 Navy Training Programs Vision panel at 8:30 a.m. ET in room S330EF at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The other speakers on the panel are Capt. James Rorer, F-35 Training Systems and Simulation Program Office, and Mr. Arnold Mallory, Information Warfare Enterprise Training Department Head, Naval Information Warfare Systems Command. The panel will discuss program highlights and strategic visions of key programs and capabilities pertinent to the Navy training mission spanning weapons platforms, Sailors and the training environments the Navy uses.   RRL is the Navy’s long-term investment in improving individual Sailor performance and enhancing Fleet readiness. RRL’s mission is to deliver modernized training at the right time at the point of need so Sailors re ready to operate their equipment at the extreme technical end of its capability to win the high-end fight.   • At the recent Training Systems Program Offices (TSPO) two-day summit in Port Hueneme, CA, Construction Mechanic ‘A’ school instructors showed off new technical training equipment purchased through PEO MLB’s Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) training modernization program. They also led an interactive session providing TSPOs hands-on demonstrations of the newest training devices. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) TSPO partnered with the NAVFAC Expeditionary Warfare Center, the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering (CSFE Port Hueneme, CA), and industry to acquire new desktop 3D printed engines, Ford Power Stroke common rail fuel engine simulators, medium tactical vehicle replacement transfer cases, and various electrical and pressurized air system diagnostic training devices. RRL is the Navy’s long-term investment in improving individual Sailor performance and enhancing Fleet readiness. RRL’s mission is to deliver modernized training at the right time at the point of need so Sailors re ready to operate their equipment at the extreme technical end of its capability to win the high-end fight.
