About us

Peoria Ballet is a non-profit company celebrating over 57 years of providing the finest in dance performance and dance education to Central Illinois. Well known for its annual production of The Nutcracker, which features live orchestral music, professional guest artists dancing the roles of Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier, and 100 of the Academy’s own dancers. Each season also features a full-length production in the spring. Peoria Ballet collaborates with other arts and community non-profit organizations in an effort to ensure the art of dance continues to be strong and vibrant in the community.
