Yesterday marked the official groundbreaking ceremony for the first Community Health Network Hospital in Westfield, Indiana. It has been 40 years since Community Health Network last built a hospital, and this momentous occasion was filled with gratitude and a commitment to enhance the well-being of the surrounding community. Pepper Construction is proud to be involved in this exciting project that aims to transform and support a rapidly growing area. Our preconstruction and virtual capabilities have significantly impacted the project during the design phase. Our SPG Concrete and Excavation teams collaborated to construct a new ramp and stairway at the Waste Management office in Goose Island. The project involved the concrete team forming and pouring footings, foundation walls, a ramp slab and stairs while the excavation team managed site excavation and backfilling to support the construction. #WMGooseIsland

We’re proud to be a part of the team that helped bring Shedd Aquarium’s new, enhanced entry experience to life! As the general contractor of this transformed space, we’re thrilled to see how the renovations improve accessibility, flow and the overall guest experience. The 1,600-porcelain fish sculpture is jaw-dropping as you enter. New ramps, escalators and elevators provide easier access for all guests. Our Pepper concrete team recently finished the new topping slab for the parking lot and front entrance sidewalk at the downtown Pepper office! We are getting closer to being move in ready!
