November 24th is Native American Heritage Day. Join us in celebrating the heritage, history, culture, and experience of our indigenous communities. Throughout the month, it is important to recognize the significant contributions the first Americans made to the establishment and growth of this nation. As an organization, we’re committed to supporting all our associates and their unique backgrounds as we strive for a better tomorrow by cultivating a culture where all people can thrive, both personally and professionally.

On November 20th, PerformRx associates Jasmine Chang, PharmD of our Formulary Team and Lauren Simko, PharmD, MBA, of our Account Management Team, visited the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Jasmine and Lauren delivered an engaging and informative lecture on various aspects of managed care pharmacy. Their session provided pharmacy students with a deeper understanding of the field and highlighted various career opportunities for pharmacists in managed care. It was a great opportunity to inspire the next generation of pharmacy professionals!

#ICYMI Asthma is a serious yet manageable chronic condition characterized by inflammation of the airways, leading to symptoms like wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath. Despite ongoing efforts to improve asthma care, asthma control remains suboptimal, particularly in pediatric populations and low-income communities. At PerformRx, we are committed to improving asthma care through our innovative Asthma Drug Therapy Management (DTM) program. This program is designed to collaborate with health plans and address the unique needs of asthma patients, particularly those who are non-adherent to controller medications or have a history of emergency room visits and hospitalizations.
