At meeting of GoF of #FoodSecurity and Nutrition hosted by 🇮🇹 on the margins of the 2nd Preparatory Conference of #FFD4, Italy’s PR Amb. Maurizio Massari & chair of the group, underscored the urgent need for more cost-effective financing to eradicate hunger and for a common definition of financing for food security to improve access to financing. Italy, that as G7 President launched 3 strategic food systems initiatives, remains committed to accelerating efforts to eradicate hunger and poverty while reducing inequalities thru global partnerships for sustainable development. 🇪🇺🇺🇳 La scorsa settimana abbiamo partecipato all’evento “Youth on the Global Stage: A Chat with Youth Delegates from Italy and Ukraine at the United Nations”, organizzato dalla rete Young European Ambassadors di EU NEIGHBOURS east 🔗 È stata un’occasione per condividere la nostra esperienza a New York, confrontandoci con partecipanti di vari Paesi appassionati del ruolo dei giovani all’interno dei processi multilaterali. 🇮🇹🇺🇦 Insieme ai Giovani Delegati dell’Ucraina, abbiamo condiviso le modalità attraverso le quali abbiamo portato avanti le priorità giovanili, sia in modo formale che informale, nei contesti onusiani, dando una panoramica delle attività svolte e di quelle che pianifichiamo di realizzare. 🌍 Giving Voice to Girls and Boys for Lasting Peace and Security 🌎 📅 November 29, 2024 📍 University of Prishtina, Kosovo The YouthNet Mediators for Lasting Peace and Security initiative aims to amplify the role of children as mediators in conflict and post-conflict settings. This groundbreaking project establishes an international network of young mediators, promoting peacebuilding and conflict resolution.
