“What sets us apart from traditional private, private practices is we see patients regardless of their ability to pay. We do have a sliding fee scale. It's based on a patient's income as well as their family size. We look for ways outside of the exam room that we can address health and help remove barriers for our patients to get to good health outcomes.” Navigating health challenges in rural communities can be hard. On November 20th, we join in observing Trans Day of Remembrance, a day dedicated to honoring the memory of transgender individuals whose lives were tragically lost due to anti-transgender violence. This day serves as a poignant reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by the transgender community and underscores the importance of our collective efforts to foster a safe and inclusive environment for all. To mark this day and Transgender Awareness Week, members of OPEN (Out Pfizer Employee Network) gathered to write letters of support to those in the transgender community. Their heartfelt messages aim to provide encouragement and solidarity to individuals who often face significant challenges.
