The PGA of America is saddened to hear of the passing of Steve DiMeglio, one of golf’s most treasured storytellers and a beloved friend to fellow media members and players alike. Steve covered numerous Ryder Cups, PGA Championships, KPMG Women’s PGA Championships and Senior PGA Championships throughout his career, always with attention to detail and dedication to his craft. He was a welcome presence in our media centers. We missed him at events as he bravely battled cancer for two years, and will miss him even more going forward. We extend our deepest sympathies to Steve’s family and friends during this difficult time.
