Building Resilience and Sustainability in Medical Device Supply Chains 🌍 In 2024, supply chain resilience and sustainability are no longer "nice-to-haves" in the medical device industry—they’re essential. Companies are facing unprecedented challenges, from geopolitical conflicts to climate-related disruptions. Here’s how the industry is rising to the occasion: 1️⃣ Local Sourcing & Nearshoring: By choosing suppliers closer to home, medical device manufacturers are reducing their reliance on vulnerable regions and lowering carbon footprints. We support our clients with a network of facilities across North America. Additionally, we have locations throughout Asia, Europe, and South America to meet specific component needs. 2️⃣ Trusted Sourcing Partner with Supplier Diversification: In industries like medical device manufacturing, where precision and reliability are critical, relying on a single supplier can create vulnerabilities in the supply chain. Having multiple suppliers for key components allows for flexibility in case of sudden increases in demand, production shortages, changes in regulations, and other unforeseen circumstances. 3️⃣ Advanced Inventory Management: Many companies are moving away from lean inventory models, keeping safety stock to handle unexpected delays or demand spikes. Smart analytics are helping optimize stock levels for efficiency. 4️⃣ Digital Supply Chain Tools: Real-time dashboards and predictive analytics are giving companies the insights they need to respond quickly and sustainably to disruptions. As challenges evolve, so does our commitment to resilience and developing creative supply chain solutions. #MedicalDevices #SupplyChain #Innovation

From Curiosity to Capability: My Blender 3D Journey In 2021, I started experimenting with Blender 3D. What began as a creative exploration turned into a key professional skill. Today, I'm using Blender to create and help our customers visualize their products before they hit the market. It's been an exciting journey, and I'm proud of the progress I've made. Most of the work we do is under strict NDAs and because of that, we can't share a lot of the cool things we make. To offset this, I used Blender to make custom PGI branded imagery of products we can produce. Find them on our PGI Linkedin posts. I was given permission by our client, Doghook, to share what we created. They came to us for new packaging that better secured the product pieces in shipping and an aesthetic revamp. Checkout the before, after and also this video rendering I created in Blender to help them see what they would get before is was manufactured. https://lnkd.in/g2VM3H5E
