Quality Life Services' CEO Steve Tack wrapped up his (extended) term as PHCA's Board Chair. Steve has been a tremendous advocate for long-term care and leader for the PHCA Board. We honored Steve today for his time served and apologized for expediting the aging process. We also honored our outgoing immediate past-Chair, Sean Buckman, for serving 20+ on the PHCA Board and advocating for all PHCA members. Sean is the CEO of Carbondale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bonham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and Ellen Memorial Healthcare Center. Both Steve and Sean served as Board Chairs during the COVID-19 pandemic and helped guide the association and its members through a very challenging time. We thank them for their dedication in supporting the mission of PHCA.

PHCA Nursing Facility Members: Have you completed our workforce survey? PHCA has partnered with LeadingAge PA and HAP to conduct an analysis of workforce challenges facing nursing homes and hospitals. Your responses in this survey are important in advocating for solutions to address any workforce challenges you are facing. The survey is targeted toward individual facility responses (i.e. administrators). Our goal is to collect data at a more granular level than at a corporate level. If you are a regional director managing survey responses, please complete one survey per facility. There are only two weeks left to complete the survey. Take the survey today! https://lnkd.in/eTVMbhgR
