I really got a lot out of the Philly Ad Club Adobe AI event, hosted at the Audacy, Inc. Performance Studio yesterday. The event featured an engaging discussion between Jason Druss, Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Adobe, and Christine Sheller, SVP of Experience Research & Design at O3. The event served as an educational and networking platform for creative professionals to explore the evolving role of AI in design, video editing, and content creation, specifically within Adobe products. The conversation began with insights into Druss’ career transition from a creative professional to a marketer, emphasizing how storytelling remains at the core of all creative endeavors—whether in filmmaking, branding, or AI-driven content development. Jason then went on to present a product demonstration that showcased Adobe’s cutting-edge AI capabilities, including Firefly and Premiere Pro’s new AI-powered tools. Key highlights included: 🎥 Adobe Firefly’s Text-to-Video Feature – Allowing creators to generate videos using AI while maintaining commercial safety and respecting artist rights. 🎬 Generative Extend in Premiere Pro – A tool enabling video editors to extend clips seamlessly beyond what was originally filmed, solving common post-production challenges. ✂️ Assistive AI for Video Editing – Features such as text-based editing, automatic captioning, language translation, and visual search to streamline workflows. 💡 Content Authenticity & Ethical AI – Adobe’s commitment to ethical AI practices, ensuring commercially safe AI-generated content and embedding content credentials for transparency. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, addressing industry concerns on AI’s impact on creativity, job security, and ethical considerations. Druss and Sheller emphasized AI as a tool for efficiency, not a replacement for human creativity or storytelling, underscoring its potential to enhance productivity, reduce busywork, and expand creative possibilities. Attendees left with a deeper understanding of how AI is shaping the future of content creation and how they can leverage these tools to stay ahead in the industry. (Full disclosure, yes, I used #AI to help me summarize this event 😉) If you haven't been to a Philly Ad Club event, I HIGHLY recommend joining us for upcoming get togethers! Our 20/20 Visual Media team has gotten so much out of the education and networking provided by this group! #AI #AssistiveAI #GenerativeAI #VideoEditing #Adobe #Storytelling #PeopleFocused #VideoProduction #2020VisualMedia Mike Gadsby Cynthia Weiss

Not just billboards, but these ads have spread to bus stops, social media, and more - driven by multimillion-dollar marketing budgets. This article takes a deep-dive into the effects and strategies behind these campaigns, and how attorneys often turn to out-of-home as a means to advertise in a non-skippable format.
