  • ✨Divine 59✨ Indu, our Asian elephant, celebrated her 59th birthday today! She LOVED her treat-filled paper mache enrichment. Fun fact: the paper mache is made with water, paper and flour and is an excellent source of fiber for her diet! Indu continues to prove that age is just a number, as female Asian elephants typically only live a median lifespan of 47 years. We are soaking in every moment we get to celebrate with our old lady 🐘❤️

  • Did you know that cheetahs are not part of the big cat family? That is because they communicate with purring and chirping sounds and cannot roar like lions, tigers and leopards! This Saturday, the Cheetah Conservation Fund will have a booth set up from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. in front of our cheetah habitat, teaching our guests about all the amazing conservation work they do to help cheetahs across the world! #InternationalCheetahDay #WorldWildlifeConservationDay
