"You can do anything. But not everything." - David Allen This is one of my favorite quotes. We hear it from the time we are knee-high to a grasshopper...You can do anything. And somehow we translate this into we can do EVERYTHING... As entrepreneurs, we double down on this. We try to juggle EVERYTHING in our business AND our personal lives. And guess where that lands us? The land of overwhelm, burnout, and exhaustion. The ANYTHING you focus on matters. It is smart to use events to grow your business. But if you're trying to do this without focusing on strategy, being organized, and profitable... Well, you're probably not seeing the results you want...and you may be losing your shirt...and your sanity. It's time to STOP doing EVERYTHING. Start focusing on what matters... Let's get Strategic, Organized, and Profitable with your events. Learn how to Ignite your Business with Events...Without Losing Your Shirt or Sanity. 📆Thursday, December 19 🕙10:00 a.m. PST 📍Zoom (Join us LIVE!) Secure your spot now! Thanks on Tuesday... I have an amazing network of people who support me with their time and expertise without expecting anything in return. This week I want to thank Jess Sato. Jess recently commented on a post and asked if there was anything she could do to help. And maybe she didn't really expect a response...but I took her up on it. I sent her an email (with her permission of course) and shared an idea I recently had for my business. She took the time to respond with her thoughts, feedback...and encouragement. It was beyond helpful and it meant the world to me. If you're not already following Jess, I highly recommend you start today. She is smart, funny...and a great example of why I believe we are Better Together. And for my women entrepreneurs and thought leaders, if you're ready to bring your boldest, most transformative ideas to life, check out Jess' Big Idea Incubator. https://vist.ly/3mpiy5k Thank you Jess Sato! I can't wait to make the world a better place alongside you! #gratitude #bettertogether #risingtogether #community #detailwrangler #yourbigidea

The holidays are upon us. Christmas decorations adorn houses, stores, and even cars. Christmas music is pouring out of all the speakers. I even have Alexa tuned to Christmas music. She was belting I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas yesterday. That is such a fun Christmas song- except of course, I want a three-toed sloth. 🦥Come on now. You saw that coming. Maybe I should rewrite the song...💡🤔 I love Christmas music...well except for All I Want For Christmas. That makes me change the station faster than a squirrel hopped up on espresso! (Sorry Mariah!) My absolute favorite Christmas song though is Mary, Did You Know? Kenny Rogers edition please and thank you! This song has all the feels. I literally listen to it on repeat the whole season. Mary, did you know That your baby boy Would one day walk on water? Mary, did you know That your baby boy Would save our sons and daughters? How she must have felt not just as a new mother...but as the mother to the son of heaven's perfect Lamb! I cannot even imagine. This song is a great reminder of the TRUE reason for the season...and how truly AWESOME God is... He chooses the ordinary to do the extraordinary - even today. If you know God has a plan for your life but it seems impossible to you...remember a virgin gave birth to the Great I am in a manger. Nothing is impossible for God. What is your favorite Christmas song? #christmas #holidays #christmasmusic #hippopotamus #threetoedsloth #MaryDidYouKnow #WorshipWednesday #ImPossible

I recently joined a Prayer of Jabez Challenge. We were to pray the prayer daily for 30 days. I didn't know exactly what to expect when I joined and began praying the Prayer of Jabez daily... "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain." After 30 days it has become a habit and now I begin each day with this prayer. Today, I paused to consider what God has done in my life after consistently praying this prayer... While it may not have come exactly as I had hoped or thought - I have received countless blessings - of all shapes and sizes, hoped for and unexpected. I have enlarged my territory and added so many wonderful people to my network and world. I will continue to pray the Prayer of Jabez daily. I wonder what my blessings and territory will look like in a year. Will you join me in this daily prayer? #worship #wednesday #faith #GodsTiming #expectmiracles #dailyprayer

I have a devotional that I read every day. Okay...most days. Sometimes my routine gets out of whack...but MOST days I start my day with a One Year Bible Reading Plan and my devotional, New Morning Mercies by Paul Tripp. Every day I feel like the devotion was written specifically for me. On Monday the devotion was about enabling grace in motion. "God's grace is formfitted for our moment of need. It is multifaceted and expansive while also being focused and personal." Tripp uses the example of the children of Israel escaping Pharoh and being caught between the Red Sea and the angry Egyptian army as an example of God's grace in motion. Even after experiencing the miracles that secured their escape, they were stuck...with no means of altering their circumstances. And yet, God knew exactly what he was doing. He had a plan the whole time. A plan that would demonstrate his Glory and defeat the Egyptians. It reminded me of my life specifically the last two years of working on his business. Several times (and right now) I feel caught in circumstances that I can't alter. But I know God has a plan. I know that God didn't bring me to this point to leave me here... I trust - He will create a way (and already knows what it looks like). Is he going to tell me beforehand? Nope. And as frustrating as that may be (I mean could I have a hint), I know it is for my own good that he doesn't show me the plan. If I knew I might be too scared or overwhelmed to move forward. But I know even today "...he works in us, to craft them into people of robust and sturdy faith. He calls them to follow, and he willingly unleashes his grace as they do so..." Even when I feel trapped in circumstances that I cannot alter...I know God has a plan. He is doing great work in me and through me. I trust the path will be revealed...at just the right time. I can't wait to see how he will use this to grow my faith and the faith of those around me... Be on the lookout for miracles. They are happening. More are on the way. Do you have a favorite devotional? Let me know in the comments. I'm always looking to add to my collection. #worship #wednesday #faith #GodsTiming #miracles #devotional
