  • "We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps." – Proverbs 16:9 As a planner, I love having all the details wrangled—the strategy, the timeline, the logistics, the budget. Excel spreadsheets, to-do lists…they make my planner heart happy. But if there's one thing I've learned, it's that God doesn’t always hand over the full blueprint. Okay...he rarely hands over the full blueprint. Instead, He reveals the plan one step at a time. That waiting? That uncertainty? It’s hard. But every time I’ve tried to forge ahead with my plan…I’ve missed something He was preparing. And every time I’ve trusted His timing, I’ve seen doors open that I never could have opened myself. #enlargemyterritory If you’re in a season of waiting, focus on taking the step in front of you (even if it doesn’t make any sense). Trust His guidance even when you can’t see the whole path. Here’s my go-to stress relief strategy: ✔️Plan & Prioritize: When everything feels urgent, I break it down and tackle what truly matters first. ✔️Pause & Breathe: A deep breath can work wonders. Sometimes, slowing down is the key to speeding up. And this is why Ellie the Sloth is my assistant. She is a great reminder that sometimes we need to slow down to go fast. ✔️Walk in Nature: Fresh air, movement, and a change of scenery can reset my mind and will help me refocus on my priorities. ✔️Prayer: I lean into my faith for clarity, strength, and peace. ✔️Reading: A great book shifts my mindset and offers a break from feeling like I am racing from one task to another. Even as little as a 5-minute pause can make a world of difference. Stress happens, but it doesn’t have to run your day.   • Ellie & I had a great day yesterday! We started the day with two friends at The Cracked Egg. Coffee cake and omelet - so good! Then we headed down to The Strat to meet a friend in person for the first time. So fun!! Then off to Starbucks to do a little work and refuel before we hit Rustic House for a double margarita!   • Are you ready for tip three on how to get butts on the list for your next event? Leveraging your network and power partners. Here's how it works: Reach out and ask them to share about your event. Most people are more than willing to help, but they don't know you need it. Until you ask. Keep it simple. A message like this works well: "Hey, I know your audience is all about [fill in topic]. I'm hosting an event that will help them [benefit]. I'd love to offer an exclusive [bonus/discount/freebie] to your audience. Would you be open to sharing?" Offer to send them the copy and the graphics. Make it easy. Make it valuable. And watch those butts get on your list. If you're hosting an event, here's a simple trick. Use video. Instead of just posting a graphic, which most people scroll past, do this. Grab your phone, record a quick 15-second video answering one big question about your event. ✔️What will people walk away with? ✔️Who is this event perfect for? ✔️What's one thing that's going to blow their mind? People connect with people, not graphics. So get in front of that camera and tell them why they need to get their butt on your list. 🔥Flamin Tip. Remember last week when we asked your attendees the one thing they wanted to learn? Use those questions to tease the event. Don't forget to ask your audience to comment with their question for your next video and remind them to tag someone who needs your event.
