PIC Americas Participates in LACLO 2024 with Dr. Ofelia Cervantes as Representative From October 21st to 23rd, Montevideo, Uruguay, became the meeting point for the XIX Latin American Conference on Learning Technologies (LACLO 2024), held at the Universidad de la República Oriental del Uruguay. This event brought together experts, academics, and education professionals to discuss the advancements and challenges in learning technologies across Latin America. Dr. Ofelia Cervantes, representing PIC Americas, had a prominent role at the conference, presenting on the impact of educational technologies in strengthening curriculum internationalization and promoting Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL). Her session highlighted the crucial role of these tools in connecting students and educators across borders, fostering global awareness and cultural diversity.
