#HappyNewYear! 🎉 The first apparatus we are featuring in 2025 is Huntsville Fire & Rescue’s #Velocity #CombinationHDR! It’s primary function is to operate as a Hazardous Materials Response apparatus in the #HunstvilleAL region. For HAZMAT operations, the crew cab is designed with an extensive research and command space for firefighters. It includes a dual-computer system which may be displayed on multiple screens mounted around the cab interior. Audio and visual feeds can also be directed to the exterior of the apparatus to optimize on-scene communication. The system is equipped with WIFI for researching chemicals, reviewing live video feeds and briefing entry teams. Behind the crew cab workspace, a walk-in climate-controlled storage space will store monitors and equipment.
