Continuing our partnership with MANG, we have planted another 1,000 #mangrove propagules as part of our #mangroverestoration project. Nothing better than new sprouts! We’re proud to be strengthening our #coastalcommunities together. #aquaculture #regnerativefarming #sustainable

🌱 Watch us grow! 🐟 We've been quite busy at Pine Island Redfish, planting the mangrove propagules brought in by our amazing volunteers on Florida's Gulf Coast. Partnering with our friends at MANG, are Florida mangrove restoration project is well underway. We've already planted more than 1,000 mangrove propagules... and many, many more to come! We use our nutrient-rich wastewater from our redfish production to feed not only these mangroves but other amazing nutrient-dense vegetables. Once the mangroves reach the perfect size, we will begin transplanting these carbon sequestering beauties along Florida's Gulf coast - rebuilding and protecting vital coastal ecosystems. We'll keep you up to date as our newest mangroves grow and prosper. 👏 Thanks again to the MANG team and all the volunteers working across Florida.
