We’re delighted to share that Pioneer was honored with the Outstanding Community Partner award at the 2024 Women of Distinction event hosted by the Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains Inc..  This annual celebration highlights organizations and individuals that empower young leaders through education and community initiatives and we're proud to be recognized alongside the other remarkable honorees that are modeling positive change to inspire girls to dream big.    Our EVP of Human Resources and Communications, Tyson Taylor, had the honor of accepting the award on Pioneer's behalf, showcasing our company's commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders as they make a positive impact on their communities and the world.  Congratulations to all the honorees and a special thank you to the Girl Scouts for this recognition. 

As part of the newly announced $15.6 million Permian Strategic Partnership and Abell-Hanger Foundation initiative to expand the Harmony Public School system in the Permian Basin, Pioneer is proud to contribute more than just financial support. In addition to funding, we've donated 33 acres of land valued at $2.64 million to support building the Midland Harmony Science Academy.   The Midland Harmony Science Academy will offer a rigorous STEM-based curriculum, providing students with hands-on learning experiences and preparing them for future careers. With enrollment initially open for Pre-K through 2nd grade, the academy will gradually expand to accommodate up to 1,500 students in Pre-K through 12th grade from diverse backgrounds over the next decade.   We're honored to partner with the Permian Strategic Partnership and Abell-Hangar Foundation on this important initiative to bring more educational opportunities to underserved communities in our region. Future coders, geologists and energy leaders came together for The University of Texas at Austin’s 4th Annual Energy AI Hackathon, sponsored by Pioneer. These students, ranging from undergraduates to PhD candidates, spent two days tackling real-world data to predict low pressure drill outs after fracking with guidance from industry mentors.   A big thank you to the sponsors and mentors from Phillips 66, Chevron, SLB, ExxonMobil, Shell, ComboCurve and GE for making this event possible, and congratulations to all the participants for their impressive work and dedication to innovation! We look forward to welcoming the winning teams to our headquarters soon, where they’ll have the opportunity to present their work. 

Shades on, eclipse ready. 😎🌑🌞  What an unforgettable experience as we witnessed the last total solar eclipse visible from the contiguous United States until 2044! Our cosmic gathering was nothing short of stellar – with space-themed snacks, refreshing drinks and eye protection for everyone. 

Empowering young women is a cause close to our hearts. ❤️ This #WomensHistoryMonth, we partnered with Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas to sponsor and host the 5th annual Power 2 the Girl conference, a powerful initiative aimed at breaking the cycle of poverty through education and community impact.  This year’s conference theme, "Stand in Your Strengths," inspired hundreds of middle and high school girls to embrace their unique strengths, grow confidence and pave their own paths to success. With inspiring keynote speakers and engaging activities, the girls were empowered to build positive attitudes toward academics, STEM, higher education and female progress.  We take immense pride in supporting Girls Inc. and all the incredible girls who’re taking charge of their lives!

We honored #BlackHistoryMonth with a series of engaging activities that gave our team the opportunity to immerse themselves in Black culture, history and heritage. Our celebrations included moments of education, enjoying a dance performance from Define Artistry Collaborative and a fun game of Trivia. Thank you to OnePioneer for bringing us together to recognize, celebrate and deepen our understanding on the significance of this month!

In a joint effort with NextEra Energy Resources and Targa Resources, we’re proud to celebrate the commissioning of the Pioneer Hutt Wind Energy Center as part of our commitment to sustainability and reducing carbon emissions.  To celebrate this significant achievement, we held a special ribbon-cutting ceremony and site tour. A big thank you to all who attended to commemorate this new beginning!

We held a fundraising chili cook-off on Valentine's Day to support Irving Cares – an organization dedicated to helping Irving residents through financial crises.  Congratulations to our winners and thank you to all the chefs who shared their chili creations with us! Nothing screams Valentine’s Day like a good bowl of chili. 😉

It’s the year of the dragon! 🐉🧧🧨 We hosted a vibrant event in celebration of the 2024 #LunarNewYear last week, where our colleagues watched the Dragon dance and enjoyed festive food and drinks. Wishing you all a prosperous new year ahead!
