This past Sunday I ran the NYC Marathon!!! It was hands down one of the greatest experiences of my life. The energy from the crowd and everyone in the city that day was absolutely electric⚡️!!!
26.2 Miles
5 Boroughs
3 hours 44 minutes 37 seconds (PR for me!)
1st NYC Marathon!
This race was tough, exciting and absolutely amazing compared to my previous 2 marathons.
It had more hills which made it more difficult to PR, BUT better weather than Texas lol, the views were magical, and the crowds gave off the best vibes ever!
I had more on my plate while training for this one marathon, raising a 1.5 year old son Jade w/ my amazing wife Katelynn and a second on the way! BUT I was more disciplined in my time management, diet and training that had me in the best shape of my life.
In all, I am truly grateful for Pitch and Run giving me the opportunity to run this race, it was a dream come true! Special thanks to Nihal Mehta, Kevin Weatherman and Karen Lee! y’all are amazing and PNR is by far one of the greatest communities to be a part of!! I’m also very thankful for all the family and friends that supported me before, during and after the race!
Running a marathon teaches you a lot—the value of determination, pacing, resilience, and trusting the process, which I believe are essential for long-term success in both life and business. Just as marathoners rely on crowd support during a race, leveraging your networks and resources is key to staying focused and reaching your goals.
The 2024 TCS New York City Marathon and New York Road Runners was the world's largest marathon ever with 55,646 total finishers!
