Our #VoloCity aircraft successfully passed the Verification Phase of System Review (SR) and Software Stages of Involvement (SOI) audits for our Flight Control Computers (FCCs) conducted by EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency in joint validation with the Japanese and Singapore civil aviation authorities. FCCs, the brains of the aircraft, enhance safety, optimize aircraft efficiency, reduce pilot workload, and underscore the robustness and reliability of our technology as we push the boundaries of #UAM and strive for safe, efficient, and sustainable air travel for everyone. Congratulations to the incredible team of engineers for their hard work and success.

Archer has signed a Space Act Agreement with the NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, which is focused on ensuring the #USA leads the world in the next generation of air transportation. The collaboration will kick off with an initial project focused on studying high-performance battery cells and safety testing targeted for #AdvancedAirMobility and #space applications. Archer believes while the supply chain for electric vehicles in the U.S. is maturing, the supply chain for electric aircraft remains nascent not just in the U.S., but globally. Major eVTOL carriers would like to begin passenger operations sometime in 2025. The Federal Aviation Administration would like their I28 plan to culminate in integrated AAM operations by 2028. Yet the majority of the population believe that AAM, UAM, and eVTOL are blanket terms for electric helicopters. If the public are uninformed, they likely won't accept the disruption, and we will never develop the workforce to power this industry. What are some ways to educate and engage the general public, so we can bring more awareness to this segment of aviation? Michael Healander and his startup Airspace Link, Inc. are doing their part by working with the Detroit Frederick Douglass Academy. Their "goal is to equip local students with skills necessary for the future drone economy and to support the Detroit AAIR program."
