Thank you to all our community members and partners who turned out for #RedSandPlacer today, in conjunction with Human Trafficking Prevention Month! This is an annual immersive art experience where we pour red sand into sidewalk cracks to symbolize victims of human trafficking who “fall through the cracks” every day. This was our first year on the bridge in Downtown Roseville! Didn't make it? You can still participate in the #RedSandProject: Pick up packets of sand at our Children's System of Care offices in Rocklin or Auburn all month to use at your home or business (https://lnkd.in/g7RC6zRx). Plus, make sure to catch some of the other activities going on this month, including trainings and a community panel from our partners at Placer County Office Of Education.

Who is Supervisor Anthony DeMattei? We sat down and spoke with the supervisor on camera to find out more about his background and goals for his 4-year term in office.
