Exhibting at Procore Technologies #Groundbreak was a great experience for us, and our team at Planera, Inc was there in full force. I talked with countless customers and prospects over the course of the event about the future of project scheduling. Here are a few observations from my experience, conversations, and people's reactions to our product: - Many PMs have to use different tools for master and phase schedules. Data silos are frustrating to everyone. - People strongly prefer visual over the typical spreadsheet, form or tabular scheduling. - Multi-collaborator tools are much more useful, and integrations are very important. When information doesn’t export seamlessly, you are stuck with data silos. Schedulers are forced to reconcile manually between working schedules and contract schedules. Way too clunky and inefficient. We have our work cut out for us, we are on a good path and totally committed.
