From Local Screenings to Global Impact! Thank you for making the Trees & Seas Film Festival 2024 unforgettable! This year, we united over 30 communities worldwide, hosted 70 events, and welcomed 7,000 attendees. Together, we retrieved 12,000 kg of waste and restored 5 acres of land. Trees & Seas Film Festival (TSFF) Community Festivals Around the World! Unlike any other film festival, TSFF was held in over 30 communities around the world, where each festival, deeply rooted in local culture and context, sparked discussions about environmental challenges and fostered collaboration. Thousands of people joined the Trees & Seas Film Festival in their communities from London to Bali to Auckland to Douala to Mexico City... to watch and learn from TSFF films, and participate in workshops, cleanups, and discussions to promote sustainability. As Eco Friends director Awiyii Blaise said, "It was an enriching experience, fostering unity for a common purpose." Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing highlights, stories from filmmakers and panelists, and ways to stay engaged. Keep an eye out for updates!
