We are so excited to announce that Chris Brown, an 18-year veteran of the company – and someone many of you know! - has been promoted to President of Platt Builders. He has taken over day-to-day operations from our founder, Halsey Platt, who will remain the owner and member of the senior staff team. Chris will oversee the operations of Platt Builders and our two in-house brands: Platt Cabinetry and Prismatic Painting. Chris has spent time in the field overseeing renovation projects as a Project Manager and as Director of Production, and most recently, has been a member of our pre-production team where he helped guide clients through the process of getting their home projects built. Chris has served on Platt’s senior management team for almost a decade and is a familiar face in the industry among subcontractors, vendors, and design partners. Sometimes our work brings us off the construction sites and into special places like this. We were honored to gather with so many others from our industry to celebrate the 90th birthday of the legendary Yolanda Cellucci and her newest children’s book that honors her late daughter, Linda Cole, titled “Lindy Lou Loves Her Doll Celine Linda.” All proceeds benefitted St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the room was filled with gratitude, laughter, and the giving spirit of the holiday season.
