What is imposter syndrome at its core? It's a caricature of yourself that you, someone else, or the enemy holds up as your reflection. If you start believing that lie, you're a victim of imposter syndrome. Put imposter syndrome to death! You are not your own anymore. You are God's child, bought with His blood. Don't believe the lies anymore, but believe what Jesus says about you. Whatever He called you to do, you need to do it. I had originally been working with more secular-based clients, all of which had products and things to make the world a better place, but they didn't have God. That made everything I created meaningless because there was no eternal effect. God wanted me to step out in faith and start working for Christian companies and ministries to help them with social media because they are doing things that God called them to do! Christian businesses aren't meant to blend in with the rest of the world, just as Christians shouldn't blend in with the rest of the world. This doesn't mean that you need to put Bible verses everywhere, although it doesn't hurt to show people which team you're on. This means that no matter what you do, it is done with absolute excellence, work done for God and not for man. The morals and purpose behind the business will be seen, even if you aren't necessarily outright about Who really leads your business. The truth is, the firmer you are on where your core values are, the harder it will be for people to push you around. If you're weak in where you draw the line, soon you'll be pushed over it.
