PLX advanced, innovative optical technology: making news since 1955. Now, PLX’s Monolithic Optical Structure Technology™ (M.O.S.T.) is delivering extraordinary optical performance for some of the world’s leading defense, space, and manufacturing companies. In 1955, our retroreflectors went into space with the NASA Manned Space Mission, the start of a journey of system integration and new product development, all designed to perform and exceed expectations in the harshest operating environments. https://lnkd.in/dVx7Sbg Our Boresighting systems operate in the Apache Helicopters and Abrams tanks. Our laser technology has now advanced to a new dimension, with our Active Optics technology taking beam steering to a new level of accuracy, efficiency, and performance. https://lnkd.in/dZwjjRQV Our new O-LAMM technology, designed for manufacturing applications, significantly reduces waste, downtime, and set-up costs, making it a cost-effective solution. PLX's T-LRF system is designed for tracking fast-moving targets at long and short ranges with multiple points at a rate of up to 1000 Hz in a smaller, lighter, low-power unit. For more information on our high-performance optical technology, products and systems, email us at sales@plxinc.com or visit www.plxinc.com.

  • PLX Inc.’s Active Optics Technology takes Beam Steering to a new level of performance. https://lnkd.in/dZwjjRQV Active Optics is an optic that responds to electrical stimuli that change the properties of light.  It can steer a beam, change the wavefront of a beam, distort it or modulate it.  Our Monolithic Optical Structure Technology™ (M.O.S.T.) enables Active Optics Technology to deliver exceptional accuracy and stability. Perfect for an industrial metrology system or a long-range laser tracking system. This technology is the foundation for O-LAMM, our new industrial application product, which can be used in robotic systems, medical devices, and more. Our T-LRF system is a tracking laser range finder that can range multiple points within the electrical-optic platforms field of view, as well as track objects.  For more information on our high-performance optical technology, products and systems, email us at sales@plxinc.com or visit www.plxinc.com.

  • Luxium Solutions' sapphire windows are available in PLX’s LTHRAW and Boresighting systems when extra protection is required for extreme environmental conditions. PLX's All-Weather Lateral Transfer Hollow Retroreflectors™ (LTHRAW) provides ruggedized, vacuum-compatible, hermetically sealed all-weather enclosures for applications that require environmental protection for optical surfaces. These enclosures enable them to perform under the harshest environmental conditions without impairing the optics.  https://lnkd.in/esFrSmUT Luxium Solutions’ sapphire windows  are hard, second only to diamonds, and almost impossible to scratch. They offer extreme physical, chemical and thermal durability, withstanding temperatures up to 2000°C. Sapphire’s stable crystal structure means it won’t react with its surroundings. As a result, it can survive harsh chemical environments without damage. These windows can be used in a multitude of PLX optical solutions for enhanced performance.  https://lnkd.in/eJrepc7d For more information on our high-performance optical technology, products and systems, email us at sales@plxinc.com or visit www.plxinc.com.
