We’re very close to opening the most interesting, innovative and transformative project that downtown Minneapolis has seen since 1963. Four restaurants, a grocery store, a public-facing meetings & events facility, the most premium flex workplace product in the Mid-West, 95,000 square feet of amenitized business storage, a 10,000 square foot idyllic rooftop terrace, a Michelin Star and James Beard-awarded culinary team, 970 stalls of newly renovated parking, the most attractive anchor tenant opportunity in the Twin Cities, and much more is offered throughout a truly Class-A, hospitality-infused ecosystem. Many years in the making and a love letter to Minneapolis, Northstar Center is about to reintroduce many reasons to be excited to come back downtown. Join us this fall and beyond.

With the same optimism and dynamism that Northstar Center brought to downtown Minneapolis in the early 1960s, the newly repositioned Northstar Center reintroduces a place worth visiting, a place worth dressing up for, a place worth waiting for. Great things are happening at Northstar Center. Premium finishes and first-to-market features are taking shape as Gardner Builders and their very talented trade partners, together with RSP Architects, Origin, Mohagen Hansen, Nimble, New History, Spye, Dunham, MBJ, Rippe, ECSI, Archetype, Intereum, Transwestern, JLL, Gilbert Mechanical, Parsons Electric, ECCO, Braun, and many others bring our project closer to our fall 2024 delivery. We couldn’t be happier with how great things are looking and what a unique place we’re all creating together. Heavy redevelopments take an army of talented people to pull off, and we’re lucky to have found a world class group of professionals, who happen to be world class people, to bring a special place back to life.

Today, we had the honor of hosting Mayor Frey's State of the City address at Northstar West. His and his team's optimism for Minneapolis mirrors our own. When Northstar Center was originally developed in the 1960s, downtown Minneapolis faced a moment of decline and Northstar Center's ambitious, innovative City-Within-A-City helped to make the downtown core an exciting destination again. Through our redevelopment of Northstar West and its 975-stall parking ramp, together with the residential and hotel uses that our neighbors and friends are delivering at Northstar East and Hotel Indigo, we intend for Northstar Center to again play an impactful role in helping downtown Minneapolis succeed. We’re honored to announce that we’ve added a key executive team member to Polaris Developments Group in Kevin Huang, who has joined the firm as Executive Vice President. As a developer/operator who focuses on introducing hospitality features and other operationally-intensive concepts into commercial and residential environments, it’s important to us that we’re internally providing genuinely exceptional operating expertise. Kevin brings that and more to our team, as a tenured leader in real estate and operations. Kevin has deep experience in the luxury hospitality industry - first at Rosewood Hotels and then for more than a decade at Convene, where he served in several senior roles – and is a longstanding specialist in serving enterprise clients on an international level.   Kevin will be a key part of our ongoing growth and will lead the success of our projects’ operating features and amenities, working with our partners, tenants, operators and other stakeholders. We look forward to succeeding together with Kevin throughout the country.
