In light of the recent proposed listing as "threatened" under the Endangered Species Act by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), it's important now more than ever to recognize and celebrate positive impacts to the monarch butterfly. The Monarch Sustainer of the Year Award recognizes a U.S. business that has shown exceptional leadership and action in providing habitat and awareness for monarchs along their migratory corridors. As the home of our head office, our team was honoured to support the application to Bee City Canada, a program of Pollinator Partnership Canada. We look forward to partnering with the city to bring awareness to pollinators in our community. We’re looking for people with skills and experience who can help support our work and drive our strategic growth. We aim to complement our board with new members who have connections with the food and agricultural community;  consumer focused brands; the energy and renewables sector; experience in administration or governance of non-profit organizations; and experience in fundraising and donor relations.
