Deborah joined the Populus family in 2019, and over the past five years, she has consistently demonstrated her ability to work calmly under pressure, provide effective leadership, and take initiative. Q: What do you enjoy most about the work you do at Populus? Deborah: The culture of this company embraces a genuine respect for each person individually. All will give you their time to assist with understanding all aspects of this business and the services we provide. In turn, it gives me the opportunity to share information with my team to promote their growth. Q: What is your favorite Populus Key Principle and why? Deborah: The Opportunity to deliver exceptional Service, the Unity of being a part of a cohesive team, and Leadership, where you are required to live under the umbrella of integrity. I think knowing and understanding these 4 of 7 principles allows me to approach each day with a purpose and end it fulfilled. Q: What does being recognized as Employee of the Month mean to you? Deborah: It is humbling to be recognized for doing my job to the best of my abilities.

In honor of her #workanniversary, Sharon shared what #LifeatPopulus has been like from her POV. “I can’t believe it’s been 4 years already! Joining Populus was a big change for me. I previously spent most of my career in the airline and travel industry, so I had to learn about financial services. I started at Populus as a Technical Delivery Lead managing projects. Thanks to the faith and mentorship that leadership placed in me, I have moved into leading our IT Department’s GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Program, and have expanded my skills and expertise. I now feel very knowledgeable about this industry and have really enjoyed the change, challenges, and growth.”

Our Populus team brought smiles to Davis Elementary School students at their recent book fair. We donated 900 books and helped each student choose a book of their own to take home!
