Q4 Charity Update - Adopt-A-Family The Adopt-A-Family Program serves a limited number of families who are experiencing extreme hardship during the Holiday Season. Families are selected from The Salvation Army Corps Community Centers, hospitals, and referral agencies throughout the city of Philadelphia. The common factor shared by all adopted families is their strong need for special care and extra assistance during Christmas. This past quarter, the PPR team adopted two families and were able to raise nearly $5000 in cash donations. PPR was able to purchase everything on each family's wish lists, including furniture, toys, clothes, and more. We also provided gift cards for the families, which they can use to buy any additional items they need or even pay bills.
