We are thrilled to have been a part of the Virginia Credit Union River City Half and 5k as the Official Running Store! This incredible event exceeded expectations, bringing together over 2,750 runners from across the country for a celebration of community, health, and the beauty of Richmond. The scenic course, showcasing the James River, historical neighborhoods, and blossoming nature, truly lived up to the hype! We were so proud to see so many runners, from seasoned athletes to first-timers, achieve their personal bests and enjoy the unforgettable race experience. At PR Run & Walk, we're passionate about supporting our Richmond community and fostering a love for running. This event embodies that spirit perfectly! We were honored to sponsor both the sold-out race and live podcast event with national podcaster Ali Feller, featuring our very own Keira D'Amato! Remember that spark in Keira's eyes back in July 2022? That infectious enthusiasm as she shared her dream of bringing PR Run & Walk to Midlothian? Well, hold onto your running shoes, because since then, we've not only opened our doors, but we've hit the ground running (pun intended!) and become an integral part of this amazing community. It's been a whirlwind seventeen + months, filled with countless strides, both literal and metaphorical. We've welcomed runners and walkers of all levels, from seasoned marathoners to those taking their very first tentative steps. We've cheered each other on, celebrated victories big and small, and shared the camaraderie that only comes from pounding the pavement together. But PR Run & Walk is more than just a store. It's a hub, a meeting place, a launchpad for dreams. We've hosted clinics, organized countless high & middle school initiatives, and partnered with local organizations to promote health and wellness in a numerous amount of creative ways. We've seen friendships blossom, goals achieved, and confidence soar. And it's all thanks to YOU. Our incredible customers, our passionate team, and our supportive community have made PR Run & Walk the vibrant space it is today.
