Order accuracy and service speed is a struggle out of the gate. They'll have to be improved significantly if they're to expand the pilot. For now, CosMc's will continue to improve before expanding rapidly - going after those Gen Z's. https://lnkd.in/gJ4x3yE6

I recently noticed the digital menus had nothing but ads on them and asked the person at the counter where the menu was. She pointed to the kiosks where I could place my own order or I could use the app. QR codes are also on the tables she said. We've been told our jobs are being replaced. Soon there would be nobody at the counter. Orders would either be brought curbside or through the drive-up window. Stage 1 on the way to robotic McDonald's where there will be no seating, bathrooms, or contact with a person. How do you feel about that? 😏 https://lnkd.in/gzjERSq8

Burger King parent Restaurant Brands International will spend $300 million to renovate another 1,100 US units, as part of a larger $2.2 billion plan to reinvigorate the chain's US operations. Most of the company's 7,000 restaurants in the country are expected to have the updated design by 2028.

Subway's acquisition by Roark Capital has been completed, marking an ownership change for the brand, which began franchising in 1974. Currently, there are no leadership or operational changes expected, according to Subway.
