📢 Important Update for Motor Carriers: FMCSA’s Crash Preventability Determination Program (CPDP) now includes 21 eligible crash types! This initiative helps carriers address non-preventable crashes in their compliance category ratings under FMCSA’s Safety Measurement System. 🚛 New eligible crash types include: CMV struck on the side by a motorist traveling in the same direction. CMV struck by a motorist entering from a driveway or parking lot. Crashes involving a motorist losing control of their vehicle. Any crash where video evidence clearly shows the sequence of events.
