With Thanksgiving around the corner, we’ve been reflecting on how much we have to be grateful for—our amazing community, the chance to create food that’s better for people and the planet, and opportunities to make a real impact. On November 14th, we got to put those feelings into action by supporting the American Cancer Society at their event at The Midway in SF. It was an inspiring night, and we were honored to share our Prime Roots samples with everyone there. This event was especially meaningful to us. Many of our friends and family have been impacted by cancer, so creating food that’s free of nitrates and preservatives—recognized carcinogens according to the WHO—has always been personal for us. We’re committed to making products that not only taste amazing but are also better for your health. This season is all about gratitude and giving back, and we’re thankful for everyone who’s part of this journey with us. Let’s keep lifting each other up and making a difference, one small step (or bite!) at a time. 💜

We've made it onto another #gamechanger list! After being included in Food & Wine's list back in 2022 we're happy to see that SupplySide has also taken notice. They're featuring 10 innovative companies who score high for tasty flavors while also emphasizing healthy ingredients and sustainable practices. SupplySide was particularly interested in how we use koji to develop our products labeling it our "secret weapon," while also stating: "Why it’s a game changer: This traditional Japanese ingredient provides a meat-like texture and savory base that Prime Roots then dials in with simple, familiar spices.
