Up next is Stefano Annicchiarico! Stefano is the recipient of the Sir Geoff Palmer Scholarship for Brewing and will attend the Master Brewers Association's Brewery Maintenance System course. Stefano and his family migrated to the US from El Salvador when he was eight, settling in South Florida. Stefano began home brewing in college in 2014 and quickly fell in love with the science and hard work that goes into brewing. Following a couple of internships, including working an entire summer at a brewery in El Salvador, Stefano attended Siebels WBA international diploma in brewing technology. He advanced quickly in the industry, having worked at Firestone Walker, Moonlight Brewing, Fremont Brewing, and is now the head brewer at Fast Fashion Brewing in Seattle. With a deep-rooted dedication to the craft brewing industry, Stefano is committed to pushing the boundaries of quality, innovation, and community. For him, brewing is more than just a profession— it’s a way to bring people together and an opportunity to leave a lasting impact on an industry that continues to inspire. Congrats Stefano!

Created by Caroline Foulk of Wagon Wheel Brewing, this new beer was inspired by her firsthand experience with female customers who often opted for seltzers or ciders instead. Could Beer Girl be the beer that finally wins over more women? 🔗 Read more here: https://zurl.co/2C3W1

Our next round of award recipients is here!! We are proud to begin introducing our EIGHTH cohort, which brings seven more awardees to the MJF family. We will be announcing the new awardees weekly, so continue to check back here to meet them all. Meet Josie Becker! Josie is the recipient of the Sir Geoff Palmer Scholarship for Brewing and will attend UC Davis' Master Brewers Certificate Program. Josie Becker is the lead brewer at Austin Beerworks, with seven years of experience in the industry. She transitioned from a career in sports journalism toward making her homebrew hobby into a full-time gig. Her enthusiasm for learning every corner of craft brewing has led to award-winning recipes and leadership opportunities. When not brewing, she likes to bake and walk in the woods with her dog, Dax.
