Meet the Team: Matt BonDurant, ProCARE Founder and Senior VP Recently we asked Matt about one thing he's passionate about outside of work that motivates or inspires him, and this is what he shared: "For the past 10 years, I run the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) soccer program for my parish and children's school. CYO is a great organization because it is all about children having fun and progressing to the ability to win championships. Our school makes up 450 of the 5,500 kids that play soccer in the league. Since starting with the program, we have seen continued growth in a number of kids who play soccer and call soccer their primary sport. It is great to see and support this growth. This year was our school's 75th year having a team, and even though we have less than 10% of the kids, we took 50% of the middle school championship slots. While this is a community effort and takes 60 volunteers, it is great to see how a little attention to detail and a sound strategy can impact things outside of the business world." https://lnkd.in/dyAAA2uA

Inflation is significantly altering financial dynamics across industries, and healthcare is no exception. For medical professionals, compensation challenges have become more pronounced, with rising operational costs—like staffing, facilities, and medical supplies—directly impacting practice profitability. While some recent compensation adjustments have aimed to address these economic shifts, they often fail to keep pace with inflation, leaving real earnings stagnant or declining over time. The lack of inflation-adjusted increases in reimbursement models, particularly from programs like Medicare, adds another layer of complexity. Physicians are shouldering more financial responsibility as reimbursement rates remain relatively static while costs rise. Without reform, this situation risks creating long-term challenges for maintaining access to quality care and retaining skilled healthcare providers. To adapt, healthcare organizations must prioritize financial sustainability while supporting their teams. This could include exploring new payment models tied to inflation, optimizing practice operations to reduce overhead, and embracing innovative solutions like telehealth to diversify revenue streams. Advocacy efforts from professional organizations are also crucial to push for legislative reforms that adjust reimbursement rates to reflect inflation accurately. The road ahead requires both strategic adaptation and collective action to ensure physician compensation models evolve with economic realities. By addressing these challenges now, we can better safeguard the future of healthcare delivery. How do you see inflation shaping the future of physician compensation? Let’s discuss. #AAPCP #PhysicianCompensation #Healthcare #Inflation

Your compensation strategy should cultivate a positive and supportive culture. This means implementing programs that promote work-life balance, encourage collaboration, and value individual contributions. Your compensation plan should have team components where measures and weighted incentives are at the individual level AND organizational levels (e.g., specialty, group, department, team, region, system). https://lnkd.in/gFweZyFv #providercompensation #healthcare #ICM

This week, our India team came together to celebrate the Festival of Lights, embracing the spirit of joy, unity, and hope. Diwali is a time for reflection, gratitude, and looking forward to new beginnings — values that resonate deeply with our entire organization. With vibrant decor, traditional attire, and lots of smiles, the team lit up the office (and our hearts!) with their celebration. This special day reminded us of the power of togetherness and the joy of connecting across cultures. To everyone celebrating Diwali around the world, may your days be filled with light, prosperity, and happiness! Happy Diwali from our family to yours! 🪔✨

The AMN Healthcare report paints a clear picture: physician burnout is driving turnover, and healthcare organizations are struggling to attract and retain top talent. Coker's 2024 APP Strategy & Oversight survey confirm recruitment barriers hold true for APPs as well. While increasing salaries and sign-on bonuses might seem like the obvious solution, we suggest a more strategic approach. https://lnkd.in/eZFrsF7E #providercompensation #healthcare #ICM #APP #providerrecruitment
