Exciting Project Update The new Westcomm Dispatch Center in Chicopee, Massachusetts, is set to transform emergency response capabilities for the communities it serves while accommodating future expansion for additional towns and cities. Westcomm Regional Dispatch currently provides essential emergency communication services for Chicopee, Longmeadow, Monson, East Longmeadow, Ware, and the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department. Scheduled for completion in May 2025, this state-of-the-art facility will feature advanced equipment and systems designed to streamline communication processes and improve response times during critical situations. This means more lives saved, quicker emergency interventions, and safer communities for all. PDC INCORPORATED is proud to be responsible for the work package, which includes light gauge interior and exterior framing, drywall, specialty insulation, and the installation of doors and door frames. We are honored to contribute to a project of such significance and look forward to supporting the creation of a safer and more efficient emergency response system for our region. PDC INCORPORATED is committed to the safety and development of our team! Recently, our carpenters attended a 40-hour hands-on, OSHA-compliant Scaffold Erection Qualification Course provided by North Atlantic States Carpenters Training Fund at our headquarters office. This comprehensive training covered the proper procedures for safe and efficient scaffold erection, with a focus on the three major types of supported scaffolding. Upon successfully completing the course, participants earned a certification valid for four years, further solidifying their expertise and commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards on every job site.
