Driving Health...Extending Lives

About us

Welcome to Project 61: A Movement to Extend the Life Expectancy of CDL Truck Drivers The trucking industry is the lifeblood of our economy, yet our drivers face a harsh reality: the average life expectancy of a CDL truck driver is just 61 years old. Project 61 is here to change that. We are on a mission to address this alarming statistic by raising awareness, educating the industry, and providing the resources drivers need to live longer, healthier lives. Our drivers are essential to keeping our country running, but they are often left to face poor nutrition, lack of exercise, and inconsistent sleep—factors that contribute to their shortened lifespans. This must change. Our Goal: To extend the life expectancy of CDL drivers by empowering them with the tools and knowledge necessary to make better choices for their health and well-being. What We Do: Raise Awareness: We bring this issue to light, so it's no longer overlooked. Our drivers deserve better. Provide Resources: Through partnerships with industry leaders in driver wellness, we offer nutrition, exercise, and mental health solutions tailored specifically for drivers. Educate & Support: From CDL training programs to ongoing health education, we equip drivers with the information and tools to improve their quality of life. Why Project 61 Matters: We must stop looking away. The 61-year life expectancy is not just a number—it's a wake-up call. Behind each statistic is a driver with a family, loved ones, and a future worth protecting. Join us in changing the trajectory for America's truck drivers. Let's make sure they live long enough to enjoy the fruits of their labor and the moments that matter most.
